‘We went to the club for the $6000 members draw. We had a lovely meal. I had beef curry which was beautifully presented in a silver pot with a flat bread and rice. My partner had pasta of the day which was a Mexican pasta dish, pork, bacon, tomato, garlic in a mild tomato sauce. Both were full of flavour and presented well. The meals came out very quickly which surprised us as the club was very full. All in all a terrific night just a shame we didn’t win members draw. ‘I caught up with an old friend here. We just wanted to unwind, and have a few drinks, then have a meal later. Enjoyed the food, and watching some sports. Nice place to go on the weekend.’
About the Bistro
Dine in the tranquil surrounds overlooking the beautiful Tweed River. The room seats over 150 customers; you order at the cash register and our friendly staff will deliver your meal to your table. If the Bistro is full, you are welcome to sit in the nearby Skylines Lounge or Secret Garden if unoccupied.
Our dishes are cooked to order and so you may have to wait a little while but we pride ourselves on quality at a good price rather than focus on quick and cheap. We’re sure you’ll find it worth the wait.

The changing look of the Bistro
For those familiar with the Bistro, the heavily themed look (Rainforest) is being pared back as a part of a staged, longer term refurbishment plan. The large strangler fig tree and dense roof canopy have been removed which has increased the natural light and open feeling of the space and displays the high curved roof in a somewhat retro/industrial look. Plans for a new look roof plus concepts for a Bistro and Coffee shop refit are underway and we’ll keep you updated as things progress.
