About Shadoogie

Shadoogie has a long and successful history in the 50’s Rock ’n’ Roll dance scene, beginning in Melbourne, then Merimbula and now in the Tweed Heads / Gold Coast region.

This 3rd generation of the band consists of Lyndon Lewis Lead Guitar & Vocals (Founder), Brenda – Lee Heathcote-Shelly Rhythm Guitar & Vocals, Barry Hardcastle Bass Guitar & Vocals, Mario Merlini Drums and vocals and Terry Stewart on Lead Vocals.

Collectively, the members of the band have performed, toured, or supported well known Australian and International artists that include: The Platters, Dave Dudley, The Crickets, Wanda Jackson, Grantley Dee, Ross Wilson, Phil Emmanuel, Tex Morton, Bettie McQuade, Johnny Chester, Frankie J Holden, Lonnie Lee, The Allstars, Rumours (The Australian Fleetwood Mac Experience), Troy Cassar – Daley and many more. The band’s primary focus is to maintain a full dance floor by performing all the favourite hits of the 50’s and early 60’s that have that infectious dance beat, made famous by all the Rock ’n’ Roll greats such as: Elvis, Cliff Richard, Eddie Cochrane, Roy Orbison, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Johnny O’Keefe, Neil Sedaka, Dion, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Shadows and the list goes on.
