Helping hands raffle

To accompany our George Harvey Midday Cabaret that is on EVERY Wednesday in the Skylines Lounge 1:30-3pm FREE for all to enjoy we have introduced our new ‘HELPING HANDS RAFFLE’.

Every Wednesday tickets will go on sale from 1:00pm and the raffle will be drawn at 3:00pm.

Prizes: 1 x Small, 1 x Medium & 1 LARGE meat tray to be WON!

This raffle is another of our many contributions to our local community and we have chosen to give all profits made from this raffle to the Local Coolangatta Tweed VIEW Club.

Supporting Coolangatta/Tweed VIEW Club: Empowering Education, Empowering Lives

At South Tweed Sports Club, we are proud to partner with the Coolangatta/Tweed VIEW Club in their noble mission of supporting education and empowering young lives in our community. Through their tireless efforts and the generosity of our members, the VIEW Club provides crucial support to seven Learning for Life Students.

One inspiring success story from our partnership involves a student who has been supported since Prep and has now successfully transitioned to University. It’s heartening to witness how this sponsorship program enables students to pursue higher education, opening doors to opportunities they may not have otherwise had.

The funds raised by the VIEW Club are a testament to the compassion and camaraderie of its members, who come together for friendship days, monthly lunches, and engaging sessions with local guest speakers. These gatherings not only support a worthy cause but also foster lifelong friendships among VIEW Club members.

One of the key fundraising events for the VIEW Club is International Women’s Day, held annually on March 8th. This event, which has been a cornerstone of their efforts for the past 20 years, highlights the club’s commitment to empowering women and promoting education.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Coolangatta/Tweed VIEW Club for their unwavering dedication to our community and their partnership with South Tweed Sports Club for over two decades. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of local students and contributing to a brighter future for our community.
